The PWV-Gräfensteinhütte is located in the Hafertal near Merzalben and can be easily reached via the L496 and K52. The next bus stop is 500 meters away at the leisure complex. The hut is located on the well-known Pfälzer Waldpfad long-distance hiking trail and on the Merzalber circular hiking trail and is also an ideal starting point for hikes to the sights in the vicinity. It has 100 seats indoors and 60 outdoors, is barrier-free and, thanks to its equipment, is also ideal for families with children. Free parking spaces are available on site.

Managed Palatinate Forest club house above Fichtenstrasse in Rodalben with a large, sunny outdoor terrace, playground, bicycle repair station and various overnight accommodations in a wonderful location, right on the Rodalber Felsenwanderweg, the tour 1 of Mountainbikepark Pfälzerwald and the Palatinate Forest Trail. Unmanaged refuge on the Rodalber Felsenwanderweg above the Clauser Valley with various indoor and outdoor seating. Not far from her - in a southerly direction - there is another seating group with a wonderful view of the Clauser Valley. The quickest way to get to the facilities is from the Hilschberg hiking car park, which is located directly on the L482 between Rodalben and Donsieders.
