Huts in Lapland

Open wilderness hut that accommodates 12 person on the bank of Kitka river with a view to Jyrävä waterfall.

The hut is located in Riisitunturi National Park, north of the peak of Riisitunturi Fell, along the marked trail running through the park, about 2 km from the Riisitunturi starting point.

Ansakämppä open wilderness hut is situated on the bank of river Oulankajoki along Karhunkierros Hiking Trail. Hut accommodates 20 people.

Situated on top of Valtavaara and along Karhunkierros trail, Valtavaaran huiputus trail and Valtavaara ski trail. Tiny hut with a stove and small table set.

Located right next to Porontimajoki stream and along Karhunkierros trail between Oulanka National Park and Ruka. Two separate huts that accommodate together 8-10 people.

Open wilderness hut that accommodates 6 people along Iirinki hiking trail. Located next to Iso Näätälampi pond and natural spring. 

This two floored wilderness hut was built at the beginning of the 1900s. It is situated on the bank of river Oulankajoki along Karhunkierros Trail, 9 km north of Oulanka Visitor Centre.

Rental hut with two rooms, rented out separately, and a sauna in Pyhä-Luosto National Park.      

Ristikallio open wilderness hut is located on the riverbank of Aventojoki river and accommodates 10 people. 

Nostalgic Myllytupa day-trip hut is an old mill, built to Myllykoski rapids in 1926. Nowadays it serves as resting place for hikers along Pieni Karhunkierros trail. 

  Aihkipetsi day trip hut is a comfortable place for hikers to take a break.

  At the Kalliojärvi day trip hut, you can take a well-deserved break in the warmth of a wood-burning stove.  

Previously a reindeer herder's cabin, Puikkokämppä now serves as a day-trip hut in the northern part of Oulanka National Park on the shore of lake Vaululampi.

Open wilderness hut and sauna on Keroharjun kuiskaus -Trail.

Takkaselkä reservable wilderness hut is located in Tuntsa wilderness area on UKK Trail.

A cozy hut with a wooden sauna for four people, located  by a lake in Pyhä-Luosto National Park.   

On UKK Trail Härkätunturi you can overnight in Härkätunturi either in a reservable hut or in an open wilderness hut that are both under the same roof.
