This inn is situated on the footpath between Lungern and Brünig at alt. 911 m; it boasts a playground and the unique Chäppäli-Cheglä attraction – a game of skill for all ages that's a blend of bowling, mini golf and curling. Try out this amazing facility for yourself: it calls for skill and luck. It's located next to the Chäppäli summer restaurant in Lungern, which also has a playground, a barbecue spot and wonderful views of the Bernese Alps and lake Lungern as far as the mountains of Central Switzerland. The restaurant serves simple meals, desserts, a good drop of wine and Chäppäli coffee with cream.

The Chäppäli is 30 minutes' walk from Lungern railway station or 45 minutes from the Brünig Pass; the path is pushchair friendly. Open in summer only.
