Hundesø hut is actually an old caravan with some makeshift sheds attached. It’s probably the least luxurious hut on the trail but can provide a welcome respite. It has 4 bunk beds.
As the Hundeso Hut is the least luxurious hut along the ACT it's maybe better suited as a shelter against bad weather, and you would likely be more comfortable in your tent. Hundeso ('Hundesø' in Danish letters) means 'the dog lake' which is the name of the nearby lake - one of many big and small lakes along the trail.
