The Emergency Cabin is set up for extra safety and possible accommodation for hikers on the way between Narsaq and Qassiarsuk.
The emergency cabin is solidly anchored in bedrock. It is about 3 x 3 metres in size, with elevated wooden bunks. 4 people can rest in the hut, but so far there is only this one hut on the "route" between Qassiarsuk and Narsaq.
