On the far west side of Lake Amitsorsuaq the unmanned 'Canoe Center' is located. It's possible to use the canoes there for free.
Largest hut on the trail with two dormitories and a very large kitchen/living area. There are beds for 21 people, but many more could roll their sleeping mats out on the floor as well. There’s also a dry toilet and a winter room.
The canoes that are there can be used at no cost. The facility is unmanned.
It's free of charge to use this accommodation by 'first arrive - first served' principle.
