Getting there
By Car: Reachable in about 7 minutes via the asphalt road. From Kaprun to the Klammsee. After the Klammsee parking lot, cross the wooden bridge on the right and follow the road to its end past the Au-Gut.By mountain bike: From Kaprun follow the mountain bike path no. 11B. Similarly, the mountain bike round 11K1/K2 Weltcuprunde and the 11I Maiskogel - Bachler Trail route leads from Kaprun over the Maiskogel and then past the Almwirtschaft Schneckenreith.
On foot: Can be reached after a leisurely and eventful hike through the Sigmund-Thun gorge, past the picturesque Klammsee. Just follow the wooden signs. Duration of the hike through the gorge to the Almwirtschaft about 45 to 60 minutes. You can also take a break in the Almwirtschaft Schneckenreith after a descent from the Maiskogel.

Sufficient parking is available at the valley station of the MK Maiskogel cable car, at the entrance to the Sigmund-Thun gorge and at the Klammsee.Coordinates
