Mountain hut Jezerce

This is a hut that where you can sleep and hide from the rain.  You need to have your own sleeping bag and food. The hut has a ground floor with an attic and small gallery.  The ground floor is a dining room with tables and benches. It is close by Jezerce (a little lake) on Prenj mountain. The hut is always open and no key is required.

The Jezerce house is not locked, so it is not possible to reserve the place. The house has no beds or toilet. You sleep on the floor of the upper floor. A sleeping bag and pad are required. The capacity is 25 beds. There is a wood stove on the ground floor, but wood is not provided. It is strictly forbidden to cut down trees in the vicinity of the house, but fallen branches can be collected in the woods on the approach to the house. We do not receive information about the attendance of the house and do not know when there is room in it. Do not leave your belongings unattended in the house. The source of drinking water is 100 m to the north. There are no mined areas on the marked trails. There is no charge for sleeping, but if desired, donations can be made for maintenance to the Zone-2000 association, which is the owner of the facility. Before leaving the house, please turn off the stove, close all windows and doors, clean the rooms and take your trash with you to the valley.
