A very well-kept, forest dirt road closed to traffic, with stretches of footpath. Starting at the large car park behind the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park Visitor Centre, take the flat forest road at the back of the car park, following the directions of Sentiero Marciò. After crossing a magnificent covered bridge over the Travignolo gorge, (the bottom of the bridge has glass panels so you can see the river) continue along a dirt road, still following the directions, through a splendid spruce forest. From here, you can leave the road and go along a wide, flat, beaten dirt footpath, returning to the bridge over the river Travignolo and back to the starting point. Alternatively, you can continue, leaving the road further ahead and taking an accessible footpath, which leads to a suspension bridge (Tibetan type), and go along this road, which will bring you to the starting point at the car park.
the ‘Terra Foresta' Visitor Centre of the park, housed in a splendid old sawmill, is wheelchair accessible, as it is equipped with ramps, toilet facilities, and a lift that takes you to the floors above.
