Information boards, birdwatching towers, campfire place. Nearby also a popular swimming beach and lots of all-year trails (jogging, skiiing).
Laajalahti area is one of Kokkola´s most popular recreation areas. There are paths, disc golf track, swimming beach with campfire place, birdwatching tower and skiing trails.
The duckboards might be slippery when wet.

Fro the centre of Kokkola: Drive Rautatienkatu street direction Vaasantie road (sign: Vaasa). Follow the street and drive to the roundabout. Take the first exit direction Satamatie, (sign: Suurteollisuusalue). Drive abt. 850 m and turn left from the traffic lights, to Laajalahdentie street. Drive forward 2,1 km, until the street divides to left (Laajalahdentie) and right (Koivuhaantie); stay left. Continue Laajalahdentie street 1,3 km, until you arrive to crossroads of Seksmannintie street. Turn right (small sign: swimming beach). Drive abt. 200 m, turn left to Kvikantintie street. Drive 600 m, and turn again left, to Hietanokantie street. Drive about 2,1 km. The road curves to right. Drive 300 m. Parking area on the right.
