From the Hochtannbergpass to the Haldenwanger Eck and back over the Gehrner Berg.

Walk over fairy-tale terrain over the Tschirggen towards Hirschgehrenalpe. You crossed the first brook? Now it goes up the steep path to the left until it gets a little flatter again. Just take a little break here before the path to the right leads to Haldenwanger Eck.

Around the "Grüner".

The tour starts in the idyllic plot Lechleiten. Underneath the Holzgauer Haus, a wide hiking trail leads you into the forest. After the first bend, a narrow path branches off to the right. Now follow the hiking trail through the forest uphill.

Schrofenpass (2.533 m).

The tour starts in the idyllic village Lechleiten. Under the Holzgauer house you will first find a wide hiking trail towards the forest. After the first bend, a narrow path turns right. Now follow the hiking trail through the forest upwards.

Round tour to Gehren & Lechleiten.

From the village square Warth follow the road to the church "Hl. Sebastian" by Warth. Not to forget, opposite the church you can see the sun-burned Walserhus. This is where the real Walser feeling comes up. After the church, the path leads you right downhill to a bridge.

Walk to Holzgau

A beautiful walk through the alpine meadows near Warth before descending into the woods of the Lech valley.

12 Tage auf dem Lechtaler Höhenweg

1.Etappe St. Anton am Arlberg - Gampenbahn - Kapallbahn - Ulmer Hütte 2. Etappe Ulmer Hütte - Valluga - Stuttgarter Hütte - Leutkircher Hütte 3. Etappe Leutkircher Hütte - Stanskogel - Kaiserjochhaus - Grießkopf - Malatschkopf 4. Etappe Kaiserjochhaus - Hinterseejoch - Simmshütte 5.

Alternative Walk 1: Birgsau - Schofenpass - Warth

Alternative crossover from Oberstdorf to Lechtal, if the E5 route Kemptner Hütte - Mädeljoch - Holzgau is inaccessible.

Bus to Warth, walk to Holzgau

Take a short bus journey to the town of Warth, from where you will follow the Lech River Trail (known locally as the Lechweg) back to Holzgau. The bus runs every hour and takes 20 mins.
