Tag 7: Etappe 9 und 10 - Von Tyndrum geht es vorbei am Beinn Odhar nach Auch und dann vorbei am Beinn Dorain nach Bridge of Orchy. Wir überqueren den River Orchy und steigen auf den Mam Carraigh. Von dort geht es mit einem schönen Blick auf den Loch Tulla hinab nach Inveroran Hotel.

Islay of Skye ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel für Wanderer und Bergsteiger. Der Skye Trail ist eine 5-7 tägige, absolut grandiose Tour, durch das schottische Hochland. Die Route folgt dem Trotternish Ridge, vorbei am Quiraing sowie den Küstenklippen auf der Islay of Skye. Eine mittlere, schöne, aussichtsreiche und meistens auch nebelige Wanderung erwartet euch in Islay of Skye. Ich fand die Tour grandios. Chapeau!
