Hiking in Maribor – Pohorje

One of the most beautiful Slovenian lakes – Črno jezero – is located in the Maribor-Pohorje region. Along the Drava River you can take a relaxing walk or plunge into another, unspoilt world in the Šumik primeval forest. Among beech, spruce and fir trees, you can let go of the stress of everyday life and focus on yourself and the beautiful nature. The Pohorje Mountains also offer other natural highlights such as the Lovrenška jezera and Ribniško jezero lakes or the Veliki and Mali Šumik waterfalls. Depending on the season, you can also find delicious food in the forest.
