The Canary Island, La Palma offers an abundance of tours for hikers: In the volcanic landscape of the Caldera de Taburiente as well as in the ancient laurel forests a dense and well-marked network of paths awaits you. With the GR130 and the GR131, which is part of the E7, two attractive, albeit demanding, long-distance hiking trails lead through the island. Parts of La Palma's hiking trails go back to connecting paths of the Guanches, the so-called Caminos Reales.
