Hiking in Jávea

Mooie rondwandeling door het landelijk gebied rond Jesus Pobre. Overal goede paden en wegen, gewoon een leuke, makkelijke wandeling met zowel natuur als cultuur.

Abstieg vom Cim de Montgó über das Cruz del Montgó Richtung Endpunkt Ermita del Pare Pere in Dénia

This huge mountain acts as a physical and climatic barrier between the two towns of Dénia and Jávea / Xàbia. At the eastern side Montgó ends at Cap San Antonio before plunging into the Mediterranean. There are numerous hikes of varying difficulty on and around Montgó. The trail I describe here is long and to complete it all in one day would require transfer from the end (Jesus Pobre side) back to the start at Dénia.

Start van de wandeling op de Cami dels Molins 38°48'10.3"N 0°09'41.5"E Prachtige wandeling langs de mooie molentjes (in totaal 11) van javea en vervolgens over het plateau van Les Planes met schitterende vergezichten over zee. Medio februari is het één groot geel veld door de bloeiende gaspeldoorn. Maar ook heel veel andere plantensoorten staan in elk seizoen te bloeien. Ook de vogelaars komen volop aan hun trekken op het plateau.  De wandleing is nergens echt moeilijk te noemen, wel is goed schoeisel aanbevolen aangezien de paden op het plateau behoorlijk stenig zijn.

Expectaculares acantilados en cabo san antonio.La Cova Tallada ... inolvidable, La bajada desde el cabo San Antonio a la Cova Tallada es un poco dificil. Está asistido con unas cadenas. Y las cuestas son a veces muy pendientes.No aconsejable para vertiginosos

A fairly strenuous walk over the headland near to San Antonio Lighthouse and a tough climb up the the elephants eye on Montgo. Rewarded by spectacular views.

A pleasant walk from Almanacer restaurant, via Windmills down to Javea Port and back up to lighthouse and across planes.Fantastic views across Javea bay and on other side to Ibiza (on a clear day)
