On the karst plateau Pokljuka you will find natural forests and historic alpine villages, where you can taste “žganci“ with milk and the best cheese.
One of the most popular summit hikes will take you to the 1535 m high Vogel, from where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Slovenian mountains. The cable car will take you to the top if you need a little help reaching the summit of the mountain. At the top, there are easy walking paths suitable for everyone.
We highly recommend visiting the Savica waterfall. Framed by the steep cliffs of Komarča, it plunges 78 meters into the depths.
