A classic high circuit, one of the best in the UK and an excellent day walk. But the timing given here is way out except for fell runners. Add at least 2 hours to the 3.45 hours stated here.

Fantastic walk. Mostly in woodland. A bit up and down. Last section through scenic parkland. Very good pub in Beetham.
