Circular walk starting from the free car park overlooking Staunton Harold reservoir.

A short walk from Wilne along the Canal or the Cycle path and back along the river. Goes through the semi-private "Derby Pride" Fishing ground.

Parking is available at Calke Abbey and is free for National Trust members.Alternatively, you can park at the Staunton Harold reservoir car park which is payable and commence the route from there. Staring from Calke Abbey car park the route goes down to the lakes and follows the trail to Ticknall. The route carries on the national trail through farmers fields and wooded areas to the reservoir of Staunton Harold where there is a visitor centre with a cafe. The route then returns to Calke Abbey via the trail. The route is generally along the trail and has gentle assents. The walking time is around 2 1/2 hours and the total distance is 5.9 miles.

An easy walk around Calke Abbey grounds and garden. The walk is in 2 parts. About 3.75 miles around the grounds and about 0.75 to do the garden.

A pleasant walk taking some canal and some river scenery. You will likely see a few planes though!

A varied route taking in the Reservoir, 2 Woodland areas and the old Lime Works at Ticknall. I was amazed to find the tram tunnel going underground - now part of a cycle path!I'd allow 2-3 hours as some sections are quite boggy or slightly rough.You might also like to wander in the woods!

Flat walk from East end of Borrowash, initially along the old Derby and Sandiacre Canal then going along Derwent River
