Starting in Hathersage, you climb through farmland and forests up to the imposing Stanage Edge, dropping down to the base of the edge you will walk the eastern end of the cliffs before rising back up to the top and walking the full length. Finally, following the road back into Hathersage.

This is a circular walk along the North West part of Stanage Edge, taking in the triangulation point at High Neb, the highest point of the Edge. It is a fairly easy firm route with just a few short challenging parts.

A varied walk in wonderful countryside, from the Derwent Valley bottom to the heights of Stannage Edge.

Heute steht der Stanage Edge, ein über 6 km langer Sandsteinsteilhang und Mekka für Felskletterer, auf dem Programm. Sie passieren das malerische Gelände von Brookfield Manor und kommen an dem historischen Hotel North Lees Hall vorbei. Der Pfad führt Sie hinauf auf den Stanage Edge und dem Gipfel des High Neb. Genießen Sie den Weitblick von der der Klippe und erkunden Sie die sogenannte "Robin Hood Höhle". Von hier führt der Weg zurück nach Hathersage.
