Extended the Augies Circuit route slightly by leaving from Boombana. Water is unreliable at Cabbage Tree Creek but it’s a great spot for a break before the big hill. This track is best walked anti-clockwise as shown. Water is usually available at Scrub Road bush camp. From Boombana it’s a short walk up to the Rainforest Cafe at Mt Nebo (access of rainforest cct - postman’s track)

Boombana - Jolly’s Lookout Extended
Difficulty
easy
10.8 km
3:12 h
165 m
163 m
Boombana-Jolly’s Lookout return including Egernia and Rainforest Circuits. This walk extends a very easy 8km return walk on the Thylogale track by adding some elevation and another 3km. Walking from the Boombana end is usually better to avoid getting caught in the more exposed wet eucalypt forest at the Jolly’s end in hot weather. This takes just over 2 hours.
