Count the 40 species of eucalypt throughout this section of trail, which when in flower, attract butterflies, bees, birds and bats. Help keep our forests healthy by ensuring yuor clothes and boots are clean of dirt and seeds to prevent the spread of weeds and disease.
About 4 1/2 hours return. Technical simple but nice walk on old rocky Road up to Tamborine Mountain. Partly quite steep. Way back via small path and Caballo Road. Can be a bit overgrown but still easy to follow. Passing beautiful waterhole and waterfall.
Accessible and short, I use this steep track as a weekday pack trainer. The track is mostly open eucalypt forest so it is exposed once the sun is high but it has no leeches so can be walked easily in the rain (unlike the subtropical rainforest walks).
