Die Wanderung beginnt an der Kirche in Hamm, führt über Feld- und Waldwege zur Alzette, an dieser entlang auf Waldwegen bis zur Pulvermühle, auf Asphalt weiter bis in den Stadtteil Grund, von dort durch das Pfaffenthal und Neudorf, z.T. auf Waldpfaden hinauf nach Cents und an der Bahnstation Cents-Hamm vorbei zurück.
