The Raad ny Foillan starts and finishes at the Millennium Bridge over Douglas Harbour. The path, which is 95 miles (153 km) in length, forms a complete loop around the Manx coast, waymarked with signs showing a gull on a blue background.

Starting on Laxey Prom, the tide was in so I took the path by “The Shed”. At Groudle Car Park the signage is not clear so I followed the OS which takes you up Groudle Glen, which is the Scenic option. The actual route follows the road up through the holiday chalets to the main road.
