This trip is covering initial sections of Harzer Hexenstieg. Section one from Thale to Rübeland and section 2 from Rübeland to Drei Annen Hohne.

Challenging but rewarding.

Mostly good forest paths and roads. On one section on the approach to Torfhaus (Magdeberger Weg) the path is narrow and steep in sections.
