This hike takes us through the Saale valley, over hilly fields and meadows, through forests, up volcanic mountains and to a former basalt plant.

An Sodenberg ist es immer schön, man kann weit schauen und verschiedene Touren laufen. Diese ist eigentlich keine Wanderung sondern eine Expedition. Einmal im Jahr, von Mitte März bis in den April - blühen hier die Adonisröschen. Diese Route führt durch dieses Naturschauspiel.

During the hike you will find varied fauna and flora. The highlights of the tour are the idyllic fishing lake, the Aussiedlerhof and the detour to the terroir f viewpoint with listening stations and a fantastic view over Hammelburg and the vineyards.

The start and end of the hike is the small village of Ochsental. Enjoy the varied nature of the "Sodenberg Gans" nature reserve.
