Hikes in Gwynedd

Excellent route very quiet and lonely hills nice views of Cardigan Bay to the left from summit and Ynyslas beach to the right, the views across the wooded valley to Cadair Idris are incredible, was tempted to out and back to Tarren Y Gesail but there was no path just pure heather, probably safer to approach from the North as suggested by Tom, one thing to be aware of on this route at the very end as you head down to the Farm to join the road back to towards the village the farmer has put a private land no access sign on the gate however this isnt right and I am tempted to contact him to remove it, there was a tiny yapping dog on the other side and I had to jump over an easy wooden fence, once done you just turn left at the house and walk straight down the path to eventually retrace your steps back to the start

Took this route today(23.05.2023). The weather was perfect and the birds we singing with so many bluebells to smell around. Unfortunately the lake at top of the walk had no water due to a wall damage that was being repaired with great big machinery. Hopefully next time it will be ready for fab views across the water.
