From the pretty village of Worth Matravers in Dorset, a 6 mile walk following the South West Coast Path to St Alban's Head, also known as St Aldhelm's Head

After a short transfer, today's hike leads uphill onto the commanding ridgeline of Cranborne Chase before it descends into the Nadder Valley to return to Shaftesbury.

Don't be a sheep and follow everyone directly to Durgle Door, go left where everyone else goes right and walk over Bindon Hill to see Mupe Bay and then follow the South West Path across to Durgle Door. You will pass the Fossil Forest which is rather a intresting 10 minute stop.

This is a great circular scenic walk/hike in the Abbotsbury/West Bexington area of the Jurassic Coast, Dorset.

This is a scenic circular route starting in West Bay Dorset

A route that will take you along two ridgeways, either side of the Cerne Valley. On route, you will see the world renowned Cerne Abbas Giant and follow the crystal clear waters of the River Cerne. Half way into your walk and if you have time, you can spend an hour wandering around Minterne Magna House Gardens, which also has a small cafe. At the end of the walk there are three wonderful pubs in Cerne Abbas for refreshments.

An invigorating walk from Charmouth Beach along the cliff tops , through St Gabriels and up Golden Cap, the highest point of the South Coast. Stunning views & delightful scenery. We did this walk  early May 2020
