Begin on the Irish Sea Coast and walk inland into the Clwydian Hills to embark on your Offa's Dyke journey!

A breathtaking circular high above Llangollen on the precipitous cliffs of Eglwyseg Mountain to Worlds End and returning along Offa's Dyke path.

British Coastline sectional day walk. Caught the train to Colwyn Bay from Prestatyn and walked back. ATOW there is free parking in Prestatyn station car park IF you buy a ticket for the train journey from the ticket office at the station, otherwise it's a pay and display car park. Numerous cafes, shops etc along the route for refreshments. Beach and sea views for the majority of the routes length. Stay safe, take the right gear and have a great day out.  

A walk to Moel Famau from Cilcain

A 3 mile walk from Llangollen looking at the legend of how the hill that overlooks the town got its name.

British coastline sectional day walk. Caught the train from Flint to Prestatyn and walked back following the route on the map. Parking in the station car park is £2.00 all day ATOW. Described as difficult purely because of the walks length. The terrain is mostly flat but there is some dune and beach walking involved which can zap your energy ! Great days walking with varied sites throughout the day with refreshments at Point of Ayr. Stay safe, take the right gear and have a great day out.

A six mile walk around the Great War history of Garth, Trevor and Froncysyllte, crossing the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct on the way.

Go to the ‘end of the world’ to find a surprisingly alpine landscape near Llangollen’s Eglwyseg Mountain.

Climb the highest mountain in Wales outside the National Parks with Chiz Dakin to find a lesser-known route with a fantastic ridge over varied but boggy terrain.

Head above the picturesque and busy Dee Valley to find HuMPs and panoramic views from Llantysilio Mountain, in the company of Chiz Dakin.
