Take a stroll down to the blissful bay of Lantivet. This walk provides an opportunity to relax on the beach while learning about the area's historic fishing and smuggling history. Exploring Lantivet Bay on foot, utilising one of the numerous well-marked trails, is one of the finest ways to enjoy what it has to offer visitors. At this point, the dog-friendly Lantivet Bay Circular Walk rises and falls over the mild hills along the coast, and at less than three miles in length, it can be undertaken by any outdoor enthusiast. The beach, which is located in a small cove surrounded by high cliffs, watch the water for high tide.
For a dog-friendly circular walk head to Coeheles Quay. Explore Cotehele's highlights and learn about some of the amazing sites where our Rangers love to work and keep an eye out for wildlife. Starting at the quay, follow the stream down the Morden valley to the hidden Cotehele Mill, then back to the quay through the woodlands to the home.
Visit Lanhydrock estate for a beautiful parkland circular walk. This moderately challenging circular walk takes you through the old forest, riverfront pathways, open grassland, and a beech avenue. Here you will embark on flowers, bluebell woods, old trees, and animals such as Roe Deers when going through the woodlands or if that doesn't take your interest then you can buy tickets to visit the house, explore the gardens or have a bite to eat in the onsite cafe.
Head To The South West Coast Path
The famous extensive Southwest Coast Path is a great place to start when finding a route covering the stretch of the southwest coastline, it can be completed as a challenge for long-distance hikers or for a preferred short-distance walk there are plenty of shorter routes along the way. Beginning at Minehead, Somerset continuing along the coast of Exmoor before continuing down the coast of North Devon and into Cornwall.

A Dog-friendly Cornish Walk
For a walk where dogs are welcome then visit the village of Mullion where a perfect dog-friendly walk can be found. Here you won't have to shy away from local spots as they are invited into pubs such as The Old Inn in Mullion and are also accepted into the Mullion Cove Hotel at no extra costs during low season with a sea view lounge where dogs are allowed to perch on. From Mullion you can enjoy a short walk to Mullion Cove, a beautiful granite-harboured fishing village, going via Polurrian Cove's sandy beach and on to Poldhu Cove. The path continues to run past a grassy field where In the fall many birds migrate, making it a favourite spot for birdwatchers.
