Hikes in Carmarthenshire

A coast to Coast Mountain walk. From Cardiff to Conwy traversing much of the highest, wildest and most scenically beautiful parts of Wales. The route is approximately 479 km (298 miles) with a total ascent of 22,460 m (73,700 ft)

A gentle walk from Johnstown to the Quay Crentre on Coracle Way. A scenic walk along the river (caution during high tides and when flood risk).A moderate to smooth surface.Some slightly rough surfaces from the football club to the rear of the leisure centre.

This is my favourite Brecon Beacons walk. For completing the circle we picked slightly shorter router as we enjoyed views from Fan Fawr, but it is also possible to return following the path closely to the mountains.

14 mile Black Mountain hike with close to 4000 feet of accent, that takes in four major peaks as well as both lakes.

The western end of the Brecon Beacons has a very different feel to the main peaks. Join Tom Hutton as he takes a tour of the Black Mountain (singular).

A lovely circular from Carreg Cennen Castle Visitors Centre, the walk follows banks of the River Cennen through the village of Trap, before heading to Llygad Llwchwr, the source of the river Loughor, and finally Carreg Cennen Castle before returning to the visitors Center.
