In Alta Badia, numerous hiking trails offer you a spectacular mountain panorama - and all without climbing. With the wide range of hiking tours, both adults and children will get their money's worth.
A hike of just under six kilometres takes you from San Cassiano to the Valparola Pass at an altitude of 2,168 m. Take a break on the way at the enchanting Valparola Alm, where iron ore was smelted and processed into pig iron from the 14th to the 16th century.
Mountain tour for experienced hikers: The Alta Badia high trail
Experienced mountain hikers will be thrilled by the Alta Badia high trail. The 80-kilometre multi-day tour is one of the more demanding hikes and takes you from hut to hut around the high valley. Besides picturesque villages like La Villa, the highest peak of the Sella massif (Piz Boè, 3,152 m above sea level) is on your route. You will also get to know the two nature parks Puez-Odle and Fanes-Sennes-Braies at close quarters.
You can also use only individual stages of the high-altitude trail for beautiful day tours.
