This has to have been none of my favourite walks . Such a good mixture of surfaces to walk and scramble on .

Thanks for this Route. Walkers should note that the track indicated here deviates from the defined path slightly as of June 2022. The part just before the hole in the wall doesn't follow the stone wall up to striding edge but takes a detour which provides a lovely viewpoint at the expense of a steeper ascent and a bit more distance. I suspect they have changed the course of the path to protect the wall (and there are a couple of wooden fences to detract people from following this 'direct' route).
