Restaurant Niinipuu offers local Finnish food, snacks and drinks. Cosy place to make a break near of Hätinvirta ferry.
Restaurant Niinipuu in Puumala serves local Finnish food. The restaurant is built in a stone barn in the grounds of Okkola. You are most welcome to visit us, taste our delicacies, grab a cold drink or treat yourself with rye-crusted blueberry pie! Depending on the season and the catch, the restaurant may serve white fishes caught the previous night in Lake Saimaa or chanterelles picked by the owner. Our speciality is plank-roasted rainbow trout from Puumala. The best ice-cream portions of the village!

We open for the season 2020 on the 2nd of June and are open till 23nd of August.Open Tuesday - Saturday 11-18 (kitchen open till 17.00)Sunday buffet 12-15 (last diners in 14.30) No á la carte on Sundays.Mondays closed.

Our address is Ylössaarentie 35, Puumala. The big signs starting from the road 62 OKKOLAN LOMAMÖKIT.
You need to use Hätinvirta ferry. It works 24/7. Coffee-breaks are daily 09.00 - 09.20, 12.00 - 12.20, 17.00 - 17.20 and 20.00 - 20.20. In this times you are allowed to make
a break, too.
