This is a special place in the middle of the Jorat woods, where city dwellers find their peasant roots, where children play next to pastures, where cyclists and horseback riders explore using their respective modes of transport to have a great time.

In 2004, the City of Lausanne undertook major work and separated the agricultural operation from that of the auberge. The latter is completely renovated, enlarged with its two rooms on the ground floor and the first floor decorated by Nathalie Rais, with this successful blend of traditional and modern that maintains the charm of this “mountain pasture at an altitude of 843 m”. At the helm, the new owner, Romano Hasenauer, favours intelligent and respectful management of resources, supplies from local producers, local cuisine with a modern touch and a family atmosphere that continues the tradition of the place. Coming to Chalet-des-Enfants offers a change of scenery close to home, a timeless moment, a slice of pleasure without worry.

Opening hours

Open 7/7 Monday to Friday: from 9:30 to 24:00, hot kitchen for lunch and dinner. Saturday: from 9:30 to 24:00, hot kitchen non-stop until 22:00 Sunday and holidays: from 9:30 am to 18:00, hot kitchen non-stop until 17:00
