Dog-friendly holidays in Bovec

THE JULIANA BIKE MOUNTAIN BIKING LOOP is the younger sister of the Juliana Trail and is basically the part of the Slovenian Mountain Biking Route; however, it functions as a loop and is an independent trail that runs along the edges of the Julian Alps. Total length: 29O km Total difference in altitude: 85OO m Number of stages: 7 (+ 3 additional stages) Average stage length: 4O km

This circular hiking trail starts in the centre of the town of Bovec and leads past Station A of the Kanin cableway, golf club Bovec, Narnia movie shooting site, Boka Waterfall and the sandbanks of the Soča River next to the village of Čezsoča and returns back to the starting point in Bovec.

Výstup na výhľadový vrchol Krasji vrh (1768 m n.m.), ktorý ponúka juhozápadnú panorámu Júlskych Álp. Výstup sme spojili s prieskumom planiny Zaprikraj, ktorá ukrýva staré talianske vojenské zákopy z medzivojnového obdobia.

This is the second of six hikes in Triglav National Park that we completed in July 2021. Other routes are in my profile. This hike is stage two and starts at the bus station in Soča and ends at the bus stop at the entrance to the source of the Soča river. Stage one is named “Hike Kranjska Gora passing the Vršič pass on the Alpe Adria Trail", which you find amongst my routes.

This is the first of six hikes in Triglav National Park that we completed in July 2021. Other routes are in my profile. The hike starts at our hotel Lipa in Kranjska Gora and ended after two days in Soča. Stage two is called “Hike the Soča trail from Soča to the spring of Soča” amongst my routes. Please note that the route is created of a tracked hike on the Alpe Adria trail. The distance on the "same" plotted route was 18 km.
