I believe there is a minor(ish) issue on this route, although it fits Mark's description as it ends up as 5.6miles rather than 5. In earlier years when you first enter the carpark by the station cafe (the section parallel with the road to the visitor centre NOT at the cafe) and follow the track to the visitor centre road and back to the start. It's not a biggy but it takes the route up by half a mile so if you are running short on time....
