India

India is one of the four oldest civilizations in the world and is a beautiful melting pot of many cultures which lend India a unique character. It is surrounded by the snowy Himalayas in the north and the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean in the south. To the west lies the white salt desert of Kutch and the sandy desert of Thar. In the east are dense mangrove forests and evergreen forests. All these geographical features make India one of only seventeen "megadiverse" regions in the world. India has always been one of the top 25 popular countries in the world in terms of the number of international tourists.
