Bolivia

Bolivia is located in the west of Latin America and captivates besides its scenic beauty also with cultural attractions and post-colonial cities. The landlocked country is crossed in the west by the Andes mountain range, with the highlands, the so-called Antiplano, in between. Two popular tourist destinations are located here: the Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt lake, and the famous Lake Titicaca. In the east the country is covered by the fertile Yungas, while in the north there is a tropical-hot lowland with the Llanos. Bolivian cities like Sucre, La Paz, El Altó and Santa Cruz de la Sierra are also absolutely worth seeing.
