Algeria

The largest country in terms of area on the African continent creates a link between the Mediterranean Sea in the north and the Sahara in the south. Separated from each other by the Atlas Mountains, both parts of the country have their own climate and natural landscape. The cultural, political and economic centre of the country is the capital Algiers. The tourist infrastructure is not very well developed outside the large cities along the Mediterranean coast.
