Originally born as a Celtic settlement, the village was later conquered by the Romans and renamed "Mediolanum". Over time, its strategic position favored trade and development. There were many kingdoms and empires that subjugated Milan, thus significantly influencing its history. From the Celts, Romans, Lombards, barbarian invasions, up to the domains of the Holy Roman Empire, Ausburgo, Sforza, even becoming the capital of the Italic Kingdom during the Napoleonic period, today Milan only allows glimpses of these past kingdoms. A city in the throes of globalization, between fashion, shops, fairs and modern buildings, where the frenetic rhythms, aperitifs, and city life seem to hide the eternity of its past.
