Julian Alps are the largest mountain group in Slovenia and also a part of the Alps. Almost in the middle of the mountain range is the highest mountain of Slovenia, mt. Triglav. The three main valleys; Bohinj valley, Upper Sava valley and Soca valley offer a gateway to the kingdom of the peaks, lakes and alpine meadows. We have designed an amazing gravel loop where you can in 3 days experience the best of what Slovenian mountains and the Julian Alps have to offer.

There used to be a railway between Trst in Italy and Poreč in Croatia. It spands the length of 123 km, partially along the sea, partially through the inland hills. Later the old railway was abandoned, and in recent years, turned into a cycling trail. The trail requires MTB or trek bikes, since it mainly goes on macadam roads. The plan is to go slow, to enjoy the environment and have time for sightseeing.
