Bicycle tours in Sweden

Åsnen Runt is a 140 km (in total) circuit around Åsnen with an extra circuit around Skatelövsfjorden. Clear signs make the route easy to follow. About half the route follows an old railbed and has no motor traffic and the route takes you through Sweden's newest national park!

Around Virserum station there is a nostalgic environment that offers a journey back in time. Dressin delivery in the ticket door, pre-booking but also drop-in to the extent of free dressings. From Virserum you can cycle all the way to Åseda, a distance of 29 km. You decide how long you want to cycle. There is also a shorter distance Virserum-Aggatorp on eight km round trip. You cycle through nature reserves, past the idyllic Hjortöström and along brilliant lakes. In one place the railroad goes on a bank right through the lake! In Hjortöström and Aggatorp there are benches and tables for breaks and there are both sandy beach and cliffs on the route. In the ticket booth in Virserum there are chilled drinks and sweets as well as books and films for the railway and history enthusiast, ICA Nära is next door to the station, where everything is for the picnic.
