EuroVelo 9 is part of the European network of long-distance cycling routes. It links the Baltic coast in Poland with the Adriatic Sea in Croatia, covering 1,930 km. It runs straight through the heart of Central and Eastern Europe: travelling right across Poland from Gdansk, then through the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovenia, all the way to Pula in Croatia. Here we introduce the completed section from Breclav in the Czech Republic to Maribor in Slovenia: a tour of pure indulgence through wine regions, and connecting thermal spas, through the city of Vienna and the state of Styria until finally reaching Maribor in Slovenia.

On this round cycling tour, a little over 400 km in length, cyclists can discover Styria’s Wine Country in eight stages: its three vineyard regions as well as its culinary specialities and cultural charms.

A Göcsej, a Hetés és Dél-Zala vadregényes, erdőkben, látnivalókban – na és dombokban - bővelkedő tájait fűzi fel ez a két- vagy többnapos bringatúra Zalaegerszeg és Nagykanizsa között. Jobban elmerülve az utunkba eső látnivalókban és a tájban, a túrát akár kerékpáros nyaralássá is bővíthetjük.

Die Tour soll an die Deutsch-Ungarische Freundschaft erinnern und verbindet die beiden Partnerstädte Fellbach und Pécs. Die Route führt durch die Alpen, an Mur und Drau entlang in die pannonische Tiefebene bis nach Pécs. Die Strecke führt größtenteils über gut fahrbare Feldwege und kleine Nebenstraßen. Landschaftlich ist die Route sehr abwechslungsreich und bietet viele interessante Gegenden auf dem Weg. Wer Richtung Rumänien unterwegs ist, kann die Tour sehr gut als sportliche Alternative zum Donauradweg nutzen. Viel Spaß!

Zweiter Teil der Fünfländertour von Maribor, Wien, Linz, Bad Tölz, Landeck nach Lavin. Zwei Überführungsetappen (Wien-Linz und Simbach am Inn-Bad Tölz) beide mit dem Zug verkürzen die Tour um ca. 500 km. Ansonsten war der erste Teil bis Wien geprägt durch das Burgenland mit seinen Bäder, Hügel und Obstplatgen. Der Mittelteil durch die beiden Flüsse Donau und Inn. Der letzte Teil ab Bad Tölz dann wieder durch markante Berge un ein stetiges auf und ab.

Obstkulturen, Reblandschaften und gute Strassen darunter auch einige Radwege erleichtern das Radeln und erhöhen den Genuss.
