Between 1904 and 1906 Antoni Gaudí completely restored this dwelling including the facade with its wavy and polychrome mosaics, pillars, which seem to be bones, balconies which are similar to masks and an iron roof line which rebuilds a dragon’s back. The interior is characterized by extraordinary shades and blue tiles. Probably the organic shapes are connected to the legend of holy Georg, who is the patron of Catalonia. The cross stuck in the dragon’s back and the bones of the victims at the galleries seem to refer to it. The building is part of the UNESCO world heritage.
