If you have been at home in the Hunsrück since birth, as we have, and like to be at home here, you would like to pass on to your guests what characterises us so much in our region and what we commonly call the "Gehaichnis". This "Gehaichnis" describes a feeling of being secure, of feeling good all around and being able and wanting to live in complete harmony with my region - a kind of "Hunsrück feeling". This is what distinguishes our family-run company. To ensure that this remains the case in the future, we have also enshrined the ecological aspect in our mission statement and are members of Servicequalität and TourCert. To make it clear "around the post office" how serious we are about this, we have created our own label to draw attention to it wherever everyone can contribute to its protection.
In addition to good food, cosiness and conviviality, another thing that is close to our hearts and contributes to general well-being is our offer for all hikers and cyclists. For since the cycle path was built right along the hotel almost 10 years ago, we have been acting more and more as a so-called "Hochwälder Radstation" (Hochwald cycling station) from year to year, which we are also very proud of. If you would like to become a guest, whether for a night or for a while, and thus become part of this modern, traditional and active regional cosiness that comes from the heart, then we look forward to your visit and welcome you warmly to our hotel "in der Post".
