Lokaler Wanderweg B - Wiltz Kanounewee

Vor der Kirche „Notre-Dame“ rechts hoch und die „rue des Charretiers“ aufsteigen, was dem Wanderer einen schönen Rundblick auf die Oberstadt und das Fatima Monument ermöglicht. Vor Roullingen müssen sie beim Pfadfinder Häuschen links abbiegen und etwas später erneut links die „route de Bastogne“ hinunter. Dort nehmen Sie die zweite Straße nach rechts und gehen dann nach links am früheren Fußballplatz entlang und folgen dem „Kanounewee“ bis Sie die N12 erreichen. Diese überqueren Sie und gehen in den „Wal“ hinein. Wenn Sie den Ruheplatz erreichen, steigen Sie links zur „route de Kautenbach“ hinab und folgen dieser nach links bis Sie die zweite Kurve erreichen. 50 m später biegen Sie nach links und gehen zum Wiltzer Schloss und dem Freilichttheater hinauf. Von dort gelangen Sie über die „Grand-Rue“ wieder zum Startpunkt zurück.

Starting at the church “Notre-Dame” you ascent the “rue des Charretiers”, giving you a nice overview of the upper town of Wiltz and the Fatima on the other side of the town. Before Roullingen you turn left at the scout’s cottage and after a few meters you turn left to go down the “route de Bastogne”. Here you take the second on the right and go left along the football field and follow the “Kanounewee” until you reach the N12. You cross the road and enter the forest “Wal”. When you reach the resting area, you turn left to go down to the “route de Kautenbach” and stay on the street until you reach the second turn. After 50 meters you turn left and ascent the path to the castle of Wiltz and the historic Amphitheater. From there you can use the “Grand-Rue” to get back to the starting point.
